Johann Sebastian Bach is one of the great composers of the Baroque period and of the Protestant Reformation. This German composer not only wrote pieces that are considered artistic and mathematical masterpieces today, he wrote some of the stables of Protestant church music. He is one of the many composers to set a tune to Martin Luther's Hymn, "A Mighty Fortress is our God".
